s0904137, wa, if that your expectation for your kid to differentiate between FIN and FISH? Or from the school? From my experience this would be beyond K2 level. I think you can expect them to do it the earliest at K3, typically at second term of K3.作者: bettykong 時間: 2010-11-20 01:04
I think BettyKong you and your friends are very lucky to have such a gifted child, and your friend's kid is also very amazing. However, I must say, based on the many kids that I have seen and what is required from their kindergarten, what your kid can do is way beyond what a K2 can do.
All other parents, esp. s0904137: it is perfectly normal if your kid cannot do 1/10 of Betty's kid. We can "sin mo", but pls, don't feel your kid is incapable. For more objective of what is required of a K2 / K3 kid, if you have a friend who study Kentville (KV) or St Cat (SC) (KV is more difficult, of course), check their homework and curriculum and check if your expectation is in line with that. KeenMind's curriculum is more tough too.
