Dear Professor Wong,
I would like to ask you a question about English learning. I have been reading to my kids every night for a few years, mostly English books, sometimes Chinese. Their kindergarten also has an English teacher in class every day for 90 mins. Because my mother tongue is Chinese so I don't use English as the medium of conversation with them. My question is: Is reading really enough to help boost the little ones their English level in the long term? If not, any suggestions on how to get little kids to your kid's English level? Thank you for your time.
