小朋友6歲, 好硬頸, 對他的無理的反抗要點做? 佢咩都聽唔入耳, 只是不停說: 我一定不會做xxxxx!!

First I explain to him why it is impolite and not hygienic to pick nose with bare hands and in front of others.

Then I told him if he really feel itchy, he can go to the washroom and clean the nose then wash hands immediately, just like if he needs to go to weewee, he needs to go to washroom

And if there is no washroom nearby and really needs to rub the nose, he must use a tissue to clean the nose

Everytime he picked his nose, I made him wash his hands immediately and he will do that.

相信小朋友挖鼻孔的習慣非常困擾你吧！
你也花了不少心機去幫助小朋友改掉此習慣呢！

不過我有一個疑問，不知你可否助我解答呢？既然你這麽抗拒小朋友有當衆挖鼻孔這習慣，你自己應該不會這樣做吧？那麽，小朋友是在哪裏培養此習慣呢？找到原因，能夠更有效地幫助小朋友戒掉此習慣啊！

另外，相信你是很有耐性的啊（耐性對小朋友的健康成長是非常重要的）！因爲你願意花時間跟小朋友解釋當衆挖鼻孔的壞處和提供了一些鼻子痕癢的解決方法。如果下次有機會，可以嘗試跟小朋友用說故事的形式去了解小朋友當衆挖鼻孔的原因和協助他戒掉此習慣，這方法對小朋友來說是較有趣和令他印象較深刻。

Hi Gloria, you got the point. Dad will sometimes do this too, although not in front of others but only at home, but he will not go to the bathroom as well.  I cannot change him as he thinks it's ok when at home. So if I cannot change his dad, do i still have any chance helping my son to quit????

那孩子這個行爲也有可能是從爸爸身上學到的。因爲聽你說，小朋友的行爲也跟爸爸相似呢！

至於你擔心爸爸不改變，小朋友便不能戒掉當眾挖鼻孔習慣的問題，不會沒有機會呢！你這麽有心！
不過可能媽媽你要辛苦一點了，你可以選擇同時在兩邊入手呢！

一方面，你可以選擇繼續跟丈夫商量一下，可以向丈夫分享你的擔心，孩子還小，不懂分場合而控制自己的行爲，擔心孩子會在一些公衆場合挖鼻孔，而且由於衛生問題，擔心小朋友的健康會受影響呢！

另一方面，若果擔心爸爸方面也不會改變他的習慣，你可以嘗試同時用說故事的方法協助你幫小朋友戒掉當衆挖鼻孔的習慣吧！

雖然你需要花較多的心力和時間去教導小朋友，但相信你是有能力幫助小朋友培養好習慣的呢！因爲你擁有耐性和心機，還有一個信任你的丈夫呢！
